The photo on the left was taken from Reserve NM at 33.7131° N latitude (taken outside the house). I’m stunned that there was so much of it this far south! Note that this wasn’t visible to the naked eyeball, though around that time I could just see a kind of reddish tint to the night sky. Amazing!
I thought that the effect of the moonlight coming through a window on the other side of the house onto the window sashing was really cool in this aurora photo (I was tired and wanted to be in bed so no more going outside for me).
Thanks, Sharon! I’m a little kid when it comes to stuff like that. Don’t want to miss a second of the action, so I gotta take a gazillion photos!
