Brag: a five star review of DARK GREEN!

Five star review https://readerviewsarchives.wordpress.com/2023/05/24/dark-green-strand/First thing this morning I saw the email snippet line of a review of Dark Green: Thank you for giving us the opportunity to review your book.

Uh oh.

I had a schedule today. If I read the review I might be late. If I read the review I might be depressed all day. Why? That’s the sort of opening line that often proceeds a submission rejection. I have plenty of experience with rejections, but this was the first professional review I’d received for Dark Green so I had no idea what to expect.

All I’m going to say is I walked around smiling all day after reading the review. How could I not?  “…a captivating read that I could not put down. “Dark Green” by Lif Strand is very well-written and moves along at a perfect and exciting pace. In Jessie Torres, the author gives the reader a very strong and intelligent main character that you cannot help but root for.” ~Reader Views

About lifstrand

Lif Strand began writing fiction when she was a kid. Nobody read her stories. A former Arabian horse breeder and endurance racer, then reporter and freelance white paper writer, Lif lives in a straw bale house off-the-grid and writes fiction once more--or at least whenever she’s not scooping horse poop, taking photos, or playing with fabric art.
